Kindarama is a family operated and owned business by Peter and Linda Brown, since 2007. We believe that the early years in a child's life are the most important for building relationships and developing life long skills. At Kindarama we are passionate about providing the best quality care and education for each individual child in our service. Bringing different cultures together as one community. Kindarama Long Day Care Centre aims to provide a journey of learning and discovery in the most comfortable and modern environment. Kindarama's total learning experience will assist in expanding your child's interest in a varied range of educational and sporting activities.
With 4 learning rooms: 0-2 years, 2 year, 3-4 year & 4-5 year.
Our Curriculum
Development of literacy and numeracy skills remain vital in the years where children prepare for school, as well as their social and emotional development. Our curriculum is based upon the Early Years Learning Framework, as outlined under the National Quality Framework for Early Childhood. The Framework has a strong emphasis on play-based learning.
The belief is that play is the best vehicle for young children's learning, and children's interests are the basis for development of the curriculum in our Centre. The weekly program is a framework, from which detailed activities are planned to provide activities and opportunities for children to explore and learn in a way that is most engaging to them. By providing a structure, but allowing the learning to flow based upon what the children demonstrate interest in.

Government RebatesOur service will comply with the Australian Government requirements to be an approved education and care service for the purposes of Child Care Subsidy. The online Child Care Subsidy System (CCSS) reporting requirements and any other requirements for claiming and administering Child Care Subsidy will be maintained by the services. All families must complete a 3-step activity test to determine the family Child Care Subsidy (CCS) percentage.
